Hi! I’m Joan, and I am a documentary family photographer based in Dorset.
I had the most wonderful time photographing this lovely family in Key-haven, near Milford on Sea
I photographed the lovely Donna, her sister and mum and dad as well as kiddies in their local town. The weather could not have been kinder to us, glorious June sunshine at its best, it really felt like Summer!
I really enjoy photographing families out and about, a place where they can feel confident and relaxed and the kids can run around and have fun without a care in the world.
I love location photoshoots for families, ideal for the littles ones so that they can fully express themselves without messing the whole house up!

My session are always fun and relaxed, no pressure as we go with the flow. Having family portraits with me is about having fun and enjoying our time together, never a painful experience… I promise!
My aim is to give you the most beautiful, story telling images of your beautiful family.
I am never worried of making a fool of myself, I will do whatever it takes to get the smiles and giggles.
