Hi! I’m Joan, and I am a Sandbanks family photographer!
I had the most wonderful time photographing this lovely family in Sandbanks.
I photographed the lovely Robyn and James and their gorgeous girls in this stunning location.
Robyn and James are getting married next year at the absolutely gorgeous Minterne house so this was an engagement/ family shoot before that, always a great way to get to know each-other before the big day!
Firstly, I totally really enjoy photographing families out and about, a place where they can feel confident and relaxed and the kids can run around and have fun without a care in the world.
Furthermore, I love location photoshoots for families, ideal for the littles ones so that they can fully express themselves.

My session are consequently always fun and relaxed, no pressure as we go with the flow. Having family portraits with me is about having fun and enjoying our time together, never a painful experience… I promise!
