St Paul’s Cathedral Wedding Venue

 

Well, in terms of venue alone, they don’t come much bigger and more spectacular than St Paul’s Cathedral Wedding Photography in London! I had the great privilege of second shooting this wedding for the amazing Nick Ray and it turned out to be a glorious day with some truly stunning backgrounds, which blew me away!

When the bride and groom were prepared and ready to hang out in the local church, we embarked on a sunny morning stroll through the City of London, but not a banker in sight today unless they dress like tourists on Saturdays! There were smiles all round and the mood was relaxed, with just a hint of terror as St Paul’s towered over us all, dominating the skyline.

 

The gorgeous Deanne arrived in a trendy white London cab and must have felt like a true princess as she walked gracefully down the huge isles covered by the stunning ceilings and surrounded by beautiful carvings. When the ceremony was over the bride and groom emerged into the sunshine with the huge St Paul’s stone columns supporting the sky in every shot! There were smiling faces everywhere you looked and this created a wonderful atmosphere to help document the moments, which Mike and Deanne will no doubt admire for years to come.

 

Now we all jumped onto some coaches like a gang of well dressed tourists and headed off to The Grange in Northwood, Middlesex for the reception. There were bubbles, flowers, laughter and tears as we celebrated the marriage of Mike and Deanne in style and just had time for one more ice cream before it was time to head home.
