I had the most wonderful time earlier, photographing this gorgeous couple in the New Forest.
I photographed the lovely Giulia & Lorenzo one Autumnal afternoon in Rhinefield Forest, in the New Forest.
We had all waited for the perfect date for this shoot, the weather had been very unsettled and rainy the previous week and we therefore had to play it all by ear.
I am hugely spontaneous and a firm believer of carpe diem and clearly are Giulia & Lorenzo.
I really enjoy photographing my loved up couples in their favourite place.
Engagement photoshoots are a great way to get to know each other before the big day, I usually give you tones of tips too if you are awkward in front of the camera!
Getting in touch with my couple that evening was undoubtedly the best decision I have made in a while!

New Forest Engagement Photoshoot
I always photograph my couples in a very natural way, nothing staged or forced.
Do you feel nervous about having your photograph taken? Do you think you would hate every second of it? It is never a painful experience… I promise!
This was what my lovely couple had to say about the whole experience : “We can’t describe how amazing this experience was!
We never had a photo shoot done before, specially as a couple, so we were a bit anxious about it, but Joan made everything feel so easy, so natural and fun!
She has been talking to me about a week before the shooting, helping with outfit and poses ideas (very easy as she has amazing taste, very similar to mine haha)!
What I thought it would be awkward, it was a really fun and unexpected amazing day!
The only problem is that is really hard to decide which one is my favourite picture, as they are so beautiful and much better then I expected!
We are so in love with her work and can’t thank her enough!”
